Notes
Some things you should know about the course:
- You have to buy the book as it comes with an access code to do all of the assignments.
- My website will be updated before the next lab. I suggest you check it at least once a week.
- I usually provide resources and helpful tips for the more difficult labs. Questions I get asked often will go on the FAQs page. I strongly suggest checking that page before coming to me. It will save us both time.
- I will also try to email you weekly or biweekly to let you know what we are doing. If I don't, you can assume we are doing nothing out of the ordinary, or the instructions are on my website.
- The best way to contact me is email- CasabonaJ2@Scranton.edu
- The MyITLab practice labs are really really helpful. In the interest of time, I would suggest you do those outside of class because there is not enough time to do all the practice labs and exams in the alloted period.
- I use Angel to track grades. If you're wondering how you're doing, you can check there.

Note:
This website might look bad in Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). In my defense, IE7 has been out for a while now, and that is infinitly better than IE6. Get that here. You have to use some version of IE to do the C/IL lab work. However, I strongly recommend Firefox for the rest of your web browsing needs.
